Mollie Bosworth – Exhibition News.

Mollie Bosworth exhibited a selected vessel in the Australian Ceramics Association exhibition held at Noosa Regional Gallery, which opened on July 17th and continues until the 13th of September. Ceramic artwork from 90 potters was displayed in a continuous line around the gallery walls.  On the 18th July Mollie participated in a panel discussion on the theme “Money and Meaning”, held in conjunction with the exhibition and the launch of the latest Journal of Australian Ceramics.

Mollie’s vessel, Botanical Continuum, reflects her continuum of practice, merging past and present through layered, glaze‑fluxed imagery. Inspired by the mille‑fleur tradition and generations of family gardeners, its tropical botanicals—from her grandmothers’, mother’s and her own gardens—fade delicately across the form, echoing nature’s fragility and ongoing renewal. Mollie aimed to experiment with glaze over the iron decal, softening the image and integrating it with the surface.
