German born Lieselotte Edwards migrated to Australia in 1989 and now lives near the mountain village of Kuranda, near Mareeba and Cairns. From managing her own business ‘                                                                                                                                                                                 ‘Palette Designs’ and travelling extensively she now calls Australia ‘home.’ Lieselotte began painting in New Zealand in 1989 and studied batik printing, porcelain and glass art in Ghana for three years while residing there. From an award winning visual artist, Lieselotte is continually inspired by the colours, shapes and movement found in her environment. Her spontaneous style is forever evolving whilst experimenting and exploring and incorporating found objects in her creations. Her past successful exhibitions of her eclectic oil encaustic artworks have been seen in galleries all over North Queensland.
