Terry Eager

From her studio/home near the mountain village of Kuranda, North Queensland, Terry produces original, elegant designs in kiln-formed glass. Like many artists of this area much of her work reflects the organic textures of the rainforest and the bright colours of the reef, but her designs steer away from too literal an interpretation – searching instead for the more abstract elements to respond to. Her new designs explore further colour, vibrancy and spontaneity that are the essence of tropical life. She is well known for her distinctive production series and also for her one-off functional pieces. All pieces are kiln-fused from the highest quality art glass and are individually produced.
