I love the rainforest and the slower pace of the Far North; it gives me time to be creative and to appreciate life.

Four years ago I was introduced to ‘lampwork’. That was it, I’d found my niche. Every bead is unique. The colour combinations and patterns are infinite. As I watch the glass forming into a bead through the flame I am removed from this world and all its problems.

The peace, the calm, the flame; mesmerising. As I sit at my torch time is in abeyance. Then there is the anticipation the following morning when I finally get to view mu creations. It takes me back to Christmas morning as a child. I have started Silver smithing to enhance my jewellery, and I am loving life.
