Jennifer Walton

Born in England in the 1950’s I migrated to Australia in 1966. Over the years I enjoyed designing and creating artwork using various mediums, always gravitating back to natural fibres and textiles – the beauty of Mother Nature is my inspiration. I’m presently working with palm sheaths – soaking and manipulating to create an array of unique-shaped vessels, embellishing with seeds from the palm inflorescence and natural flora/fauna from my garden. No licences are required for the feathers I use – they are all naturally shed from non-indigenous birds.
